Wm Westlake Pat, 1865, early removable globe model. Cage lifts off of base flange allowing globe removal. Fount removal is via two release buttons on underside. 3/16" hole drilled in side of base. Brass is excellent with no apparent stress cracks. Clear globe is copper wheel engraved "C. Weber" in leaf cartouche. A real nice early conductor's lantern.
