A standard Kelly Lamp Co., hallmarked on underside of base with removable globe, nickel over brass conductor's model. The frame is straight, tight, and crack free. Nickel plating is nearly 100%. The base is beautifully engraved in block and fancy cursive: "PRESENTED / BY THE GUESTS OF HOTEL ST. LOUIS / MINNETONKA 1888" on three lines. The green over clear globe is beautifully engraved "GEO. E. REYNOLDS" in old English font, surrounded by a rose, leaf, and vine cartouche in the usual Kelly style. Globe has a fitted metal band surrounding the top fitter, and both fitters appear to be chip free and excellent. This lantern is a real stunner.
