3rd generation Colt Single Action Army revolver Sheriff's Model, serial number SA38667. Nickel plated with 3" barrel without ejector rod housing. Chambered in .44 caliber with .44-40 WCF cylinder, and convertible cylinder chambered in .44 Special. 2-piece smooth walnut grips with Colt medallions. Factory engraved in Class 'A' with the Colt Armsmear Crest on the recoil shield. Engraving performed by Colt Master Engraver Howard M. Dove. Revolver is housed in a Colt factory French fitted display case. Accompanying Colt Archival letter signed by Beverly Jean Haynes, Colt Historian, documents configuration, factory engraving by Dove, and factory furnished presentation case. Revolver was originally sold to a Colt employee on July 16, 1982. CONDITION: Like new overall with virtually all the original factory applied nickel remaining. Bore is bright and clean. Grips are like new showing no visible wear. Presentation case is like new with a clean interior. MKS
