A lovely damascene desk lamp with gilt bronze base by Tiffany Studios. The damascene shade is composed of beautiful yellow and orange tight bands that encircle the shade. There is subtle iridescence throughout. The shade measures 7” in diameter. It is in excellent condition with no cracks, or repairs. The lower rim is smooth to the touch with no chips. The fitter end has several small flea bites. It is signed "L.C.T Favrile". The shade sits atop a gilt bronze Tiffany Studios two-socket base. The sockets appear to be original with Bryant bakelite paddles. The base stands 17” tall and is finished in gold dore. The base is very good condition with no breaks, dents or deformities. There is moderate loss to the gold finish on the riser. The base is signed “Tiffany Studios New York 616”.
