Referred to as the $500 grade pistol, with engraving cut by A.A. White staff, with rollmarks lightly pressed and then accentuated and additional areas of scroll. Serial number gold inlaid and in the known range for the $500 grade. Signed "FEH" under right scale with "AW" stamp, presumable "AW" for Alvin White, "FEH" for the contracted engraver. Other features are standard for the model. Housed in what appears to be the original shipping box with Colt information, box, and presentation case. CONDITON: Excellent, retaining virtually all of the factory finishes and some extremely minor marks from handling and storage. Possibly test fired only, with action working appropriately when cycled by hand, bore is excellent with crisp rifling. Case is fine, still wrapped in protective packaging. This is an excellent example. EW
