Produced only for 1 year, 1986, Colt produced a 150th anniversary set of a matched 6" Python and Officer's model produced with reversed serial numbers, glass top case, belt buckle with matching numbers, and medallion. Both guns are in standard configurations with vent rib and adjustable rear sight on python, 3 dot combat sights, lightened Commander style hammer, and left side safety on officer. Both guns are finished in Colt's bright stainless finish and fitted with smooth walnut grips that have inset silver medallions. Housed in the appropriate glass top case with appropriate accessories and with original Colt boxes matching by serial number, and a cardboard shipping container for storage. CONDITION: Excellent, retaining virtually all of the Colt finish with a few minor marks from handling and storage. Python has a minor turn line. Actions work appropriately when cycled by hand, bores are excellent. Belt buckle and medallion are excellent. Case is fine. Boxes are very good with some age related rubs at corners. This is an excellent example of a rare set. EW
