Smith & Wesson Model 37 "Chief's Special" airweight double action revolver. Blue with 2" barrel. Chambered in .38 Special. Serial number ACE6741. Case hardened hammer and trigger. Lightweight alloy square butt frame. Serrated blade front, and square notch rear fixed sights. 2-piece checkered walnut grips with S&W medallions. Right side of frame is marked with the "Polica de Investigaciones del Peru" seal, the Peruvian equivalent to our FBI. Accompanying 3-page Smith & Wesson archival letter dated December 25, 2015 (Christmas Day) and signed by Roy Jinks, documents the history of the .38 Airweight Chief's Special and further documents serial number ACE6741 as being shipped on April 19, 1984 to Bern's Wholesale Co. in Denver, Colorado. CONDITION: Like new in original Smith & Wesson box with paperwork. Virtually all the original factory finishes remain. Appears unfired. MKS
