A wonderful linenfold desk lamp by Tiffany Studios. The linenfold shade is finished in a rich gold dore. The shade features golden linenfold panels with smaller, highly undulating glass of similar color, both above and below each panel. There are twelve, beautiful iridescent abalone inserts incorporated into an engraved design on the top of the shade. The shade is signed “Tiffany Studios New York 1928”. The shade measures 9 - 3/4” in diameter and is in excellent condition, with no cracks, chips, or repairs to the glass. The dore finish has minimal loss with some dark spots on the inside of the shade. The matching two socket base is finished in gold dore and also features a wonderful pattern of abalone inlay. The base is signed “Tiffany Studios New York 604”. The base stands 16 - 1/2” to the top of the finial and is in excellent condition, with no cracks, breaks or dents, and minimal loss to the finish. There is some slight oxidation to the foot of the base. The base retains its original heat cap.
