Built in 2012 the nice rifle is built with a 24" blued steel barrel and is tapped for scope mount system. The rifle is fitted with a round bolt handle which is checkered and a traditional 3 position wing safety. Trigger is smooth and blacked. Floor plate is blacked and reads "75th Anniversary of the Winchester Model 70 1937 - 2012 300 Winchester Short Mag", "1 of 75". Straight grain walnut stock with Monte Carlo checkpiece, 2 panel finely checkered pistol grip with light maple colored pistol grip cap. Forearm with matched checkering and light maple colored tip. Stock and forend with eye for sling loops. Buttstock with black rubber ventilated Pachmayer pad. CONDITION: Very good. Barrel retains 98% original blue and rifling is sharp. Action is smooth. Trigger feels crisp. Stock and forend very good with few and light handling marks. CP
