An Austrian Art Nouveau patinated bronze and poly-chromed cast bronze sculpture by Carl Kauba, depicting a Native American stepping into his canoe. The sculpture is signed “Carl Kauba”. C. 1900. Bronze is in excellent condition, free of any breaks, dents or repairs. The patina is very well preserved with no appreciable loss. The Native American and canoe are firmly attached to the base.
