Birmingham 1860, probably H Matthews, oval with ribbed sides, gadrooned edges and on four pad feet, with blue glass liners; together with a another pair of American silver salts, Taylor & Lawrie, retailed by Bailey & Kitchen, circular with cast chinoiserie legs and chased sides with scenes; a baluster mug with a scroll handle, apparently London 1792, with a later chased floral band; a broad mouthed footed cup, Hyde & Goodrich, New Orleans, the front with a presentation inscription; and a small spoon with an egg shaped bowl, worn, possibly Norwegian. Length of first pair of salts: 2 - 7/8"; diameter of second pair: 2 - 5/8". Total weight of weighable silver: 29 oz t.
