A very large plaque depicting of Hieronymus Holzschuher, by Durer. The blue and white plaque features a stoic looking portrait of of Hieronymus Holzschuher, who was a German senator. Various shades of blues and whites are utilized to create a very life-like depiction. The circular plaque measures 21 - 1/4” in diameter, and is in excellent condition, free of any cracks, chips, or repairs. The colors remain vibrant without appreciable fading. The front of the plaque is signed, “Durer”, while the back has numerous numbers both engraved, as well as written in blue.
