Lot consists of (A) Remington Model 742 "Woodsmaster" semi-automatic rifle made by Remington Arms Company in 1974. Blued round rifled barrel in desirable 243 Winchester with ramp front sight and adjustable rear sight. Blued action with Redfield 1 piece scope base and original 4 shot magazine. Walnut pressed checkered pistol grip stock with Remington buttplate and plastic grip cap and Walnut pressed checkered forearm with black forearm tip. CONDITION: Overall good with small handling marks and dings and some light freckling on receiver. Good bore and mechanics. (B) Remington "742" marked action built at factory into a slide action rifle by Remington Arms Company in 1973. Most likely done as a parts use up with anticipation of the 7600. Blued round rifled with ramp front sight and adjustable rear sight. Blued frame marked "742" with Weaver 1 piece base and 742 4 shot magazine. Walnut press checkered pistol grip stock with Remington buttplate and grip cap. Walnut plain slide handle. CONDITION: Overall good with small handling marks and scratches and dings. Good bore and mechanics. DLM
