1894 vintage Winchester Model 1886 Takedown lever action rifle customized by Turnbull Restoration Company. 24" half octagon to round barrel chambered in .475 Turnbull with sporting rear sight, flip-up globe style combination front sight, and half-length magazine tube. Frame is custom expertly engraved with full coverage scrollwork and gold inlay borders with an image of a whitetail buck mid-leap in his own vignette and a portrait of a bear on underside of frame. 2-piece select well-figured checkered walnut pistol grip stock and forearm complete with rifle forearm cap and color case hardened crescent rifle buttplate. Comes with a full box of Corbon Hunter DPX 400 grain .475 Turnbull ammunition. CONDITION: Excellent plus, with virtually all of the restored finishes remaining. Stock and forearm are in matching condition with sharp checkering and no major signs of distress. Bore is bright with sharp rifling. TON
