Manufactured in 1978 by Colt as a reissue of one of their most famous nineteenth century percussion revolvers. It features a blued 7 - 1/2" octagon barrel with New York address, 6-shot percussion .36 caliber cylinder with naval engagement scene, case hardened frame, brass grip straps, squared trigger guard, and smooth walnut grips. Revolver is housed in factory wood display case with flask, cap tin, bullet mold, and nipple wrench, in addition to outer cardboard box. CONDITION: Excellent. Virtually all factory finish is retained with a few minor handling marks. A small area of patina present on grip strap. Grips excellent. Case and accessories also excellent, with outer box separating at corners and marked in pen with a name. BAS
