1 of 750 Oklahoma Highway Patrol Commemorative revolvers produced in 1973 in .357 Magnum. These revolvers are in essence the prototype for the Model 65. This stainless double action revolver features a 4" heavy pinned barrel marked on right, "OKLAHOMA HIGHWAY PATROL/S.&W. .357 MAGNUM", fluted 6-shot swing out cylinder, K frame marked on right with Oklahoma Highway Patrol badge, and smooth wood grips with S&W medallions. It is housed in a fitted, blue velvet lined wooden display case with Oklahoma seal on lid. Original packing material including, numbers matching 2-piece blue box with paperwork and cleaning tools, box for case, and numbers matching outer box with end label are included. CONDITION: Excellent. Revolver has a few handling marks and a very faint turn line. Likely unfired with an excellent mirror bore and crisp mechanics. Case has a few scratches. Boxes in very good condition. BAS
