Classic configuration with 6" vent barrel, serrated trigger, checkered hammer, checkered and walnut grips with Colt medallions. Non-standard features include custom tuning and Elliason front plastic sight and adjustable rear sight from the Colt custom shop. Housed in Colt wood grain box identifying the gun by serial number on detached end label, and custom shop work also identifying by serial number on stick on label, also detached. Accompanied by appropriate Colt paperwork and manuals. CONDITION: Excellent, showing very light evidence of handling and use, retaining virtually all of the Colt bluing. Cylinder has a light turn line. Action works appropriately when cycled by hand, rifling is excellent, bright and shiny. Face of cylinders have very small halos, breech with a very light halo; it is distinctly possible this revolver was test fired only. Box has normal age related distress with original end label identifying the gun by serial number detached, and original Colt Custom shop sticker detached but present and legible. This is a great example.
