Lot consists of: (A) 1863 vintage Colt 1862 Police percussion revolver, serial number 15813. 4 - 1/2" round barrel in .36 caliber with cone front sight, Colt New York barrel address, and hammer notch rear. 1 piece plain walnut grips. CONDITION: Good, with all of the original finishes worn to a gray patina with handling marks throughout. Trigger guard and backstrap have turned a pleasing mustard patina. Grips are good with finish loss toward butt and heavy handling marks throughout. Action needs attention as cylinder does not advance properly when hammer is pulled rearward. Bore is frosted with abrasion throughout and visible rifling. (B) 1863 vintage Colt 1849 Pocket percussion revolver, serial number 239302. 4" octagon barrel in .31 caliber with cone front sight, Colt New York barrel address, and hammer notch rear. 1 piece plain walnut grips. CONDITION: Fair, with all of the original finishes faded to a brown patina with heavy handling marks throughout. Grips are good with areas of finish loss and handling marks. Rammer catch has been replaced. Main spring is weak and cylinder is out of time. Bore is frosted with abrasion throughout and visible rifling. TON
