Smith & Wesson Model 18-3 double action revolver with box. Made 1977. Company monogram logo on the right side of the frame, in addition to the company address. Right side of the barrel is marked ".22 LONG RIFLE CTG". Matching serials on the frame and butt. 6 shot fluted cylinder. Round steel barrel with solid rib. Ramped blade front sight with adjustable U-notch rear. Factory blued finish on the metal components. Case colored wide serrated trigger and knurled, spurred hammer. Checkered wood grips with gold Colt medallions. Includes an extra cylinder, papers, cleaning tools, and the matching blue flat board box. CONDITION: Metal retains 98% of its blued finish, with a few handling marks and scratches. Front sight blade is missing its insert. Grips are excellent. Bore is clean under some firing residue. Crisp rifling retained. Tight hammer and cylinder. Sharp timing and lock up. Very light drag line on the cylinder. Mechanically fine. Extra cylinder is excellent. Tools and papers are fine. Box has some edge wear, but is solid. JWA
