Lot consist of (A) Unknown Manufacturer Colt 1862 Police style single action revolver. Gun is void of all markings, but is similar in appearance to a Colt. 5 shot fluted cylinder. Round, rifled barrel with worn down pin front sight. Finish has formed a heavy gray and brown patina. Brass trigger guard and grip straps. Sanded wood grip. CONDITION: Metal retains little to no finish with a heavy brown/gray patina. Some areas of pitting as well. Grip straps are tarnished. Screws show signs of marring. Grip has handling marks and scratches. Bore has some light pitting, with good overall rifling. Tight hammer and cylinder. Good timing. Mechanically operable. Some light rust on the nipples. (B) Colt 1849 Pocket Model single action revolver. Made 1866. Top of the barrel is marked "ADDRESS COL SAML COLT NEW-YORK U.S. AMERICA". "COLTS/PATENT" marked on the left side of the frame. "31 CAL" marked on the left side of the trigger guard. "COLT PATENT" marked on the cylinder, with the engraved stagecoach scene barely visible. Matching serials on the frame, barrel, grip strap, butt and cylinder. Octagon barrel with pin front sight. Original finish, worn to a dull gray patina. Brass grip strap and trigger guard. Varnished grip. CONDITION: Metal retains little to none of its original finish with wear and gray patina. There are some splotches of cleaned pitting throughout. Grip straps have some tarnish. Grips have finish wear and scratches. Some frosting and pitting in the bore with good overall rifling. Tight hammer and cylinder. Gun is still in time. Mechanically fine. Nipples show some pitting and signs of dry firing. JWA
