Lot consists of: (A) National Arms Co. Moore's Patent single action front loading .32 caliber teat-fire pocket revolver manufactured from 1864 to 1870. 3 - 1/4" blued round barrel with National Arms Co. address, German silver half moon front sight, right side mounted extractor, 6-shot cylinder, engraved and silver plated brass frame and checkered walnut 2-piece birds head grips. CONDITION: Fine with frame retaining majority of its silver finish. Blued components exhibit a dark gray patina with an added protective coating. Very good shootable bore with strong rifling. Good mechanics. (B) Scarce 2nd Quality Second Issue Smith & Wesson No. 1 single action .22 short revolver manufactured 1860 to 1862. One of 4,402 produced with barrel lug marked "2 D. QUAL'TY" denoting slight factory defects and were originally sold at a discount. Otherwise the revolver features a standard 3-3/16" break top octagon barrel, 7-shot 3 patent date cylinder, silver plated brass frame, and dark finished rosewood grips. CONDITION: Fine. Majority of silver finish is retained with scattered spots of cleaned pitting and high edge wear. Barrel retains a few traces of blued finish with balance a pleasing brown patina. Good shootable bore and mechanics. BAS
