Second Generation Single Action Army revolver manufactured by Colt in 1962. Frame is case colored with the barrel, cylinder, trigger, trigger guard, and grip straps being blued. Hammer is in-the-white and main spring is nitre blued. Barrel measures 5 - 1/2" and features a blade front sight with a frame notched rear sight. Top of barrel bears Colt's one line address, with the left side being marked "COLT SINGLE ACTION ARMY .357 MAGNUM". Left side of frame bears the Rampant Colt logo beside patent information. Matching numbers found on frame, cylinder, and grip straps beneath grips. Grips are unnumbered and bear "JEY" and serial numbers handwritten in sharpie on the interior. Loading gate and rear of frame are matching via the assembly number "82". CONDITION: Frame retains vivid case coloring, with blued components showing a few superficial handling marks and some small areas of wear. Cylinder shows some wear and thinning, as well as a light dragline. Hammer shows areas of age related discoloration, but is otherwise fine. Excellent bore, with good rifling throughout.
