A beautiful reverse painted table lamp by Handel. The “Treasure Island” shade depicts a tropical island under the moonlit sky. The shade is 18” in diameter and is in excellent condition, free of cracks, chips, or appreciable paint loss. It is signed "Handel 6391" as well as signed "Handel" to the ring. The shade sits on a three-socket Handel “Swampy” base. Two of the sockets appear to be original with acorn pulls, and one appears to be a later replacement. The base is finished in a verdigris patina, and is in very good condition, free of breaks or dents, and only minor loss to the finish. Base is signed "Handel". The lamp stands 23” tall.
