A very large and impressive vase by Charles Catteau for Boch Freres. The 17” tall vase has a burnt orange background with three horses being ridden. One of the horses is jumping a fence. Soft blues dot the horses and clothing of the riders. The vase is in excellent condition, free of cracks, chips or repairs. There are several small spots of color loss on the horses, these appear to be as made. Underside is signed "D.2262 Boch Freres Keramis, Made in Belgium, Ch. Catteau". Dimensions: 17” x 10”.
