A spectacular silver mounted parade saddle with extensive leather carving and engraved silverwork. The saddle is marked with a silver plaque "COW COUNTRY SADDLERY". Saddle is mounted with sterling silver on pommel, swell, cantle, skirts, fenders and stirrups. The engraving on the silver is superbly executed in a scroll and floral pattern with geometric designs incorporated. Leather work is a floral motif that covers 80% of the saddle. CONDITION: Very good to fine. Saddle shows very little wear and is in very good condition. Sheepskin liner is intact and shows very little sweat stain. A wonderful example of the saddle makers art, worthy of the finest collection. REW
