Lot consists of (A) Side by side hammerless shotgun made by Joseph P. Clabrough in London, England circa 1890. Damascus steel barrels with smooth concave rib with bead front sight and rib marked "J.P. Clabrough & Bros London" with "Treble Wedge Fast" and extractors. Finely engraved case hardened sidelock action with vignettes and bird scene engraving with automatic safety and double triggers. Walnut round knob checkered pistol grip stock with bronze stock shield and bakelite buttplate. Walnut splinter forearm with full coverage diamond pattern checkering with latch release. CONDITION: 50% remaining original finish with surface corrosion and handling wear. Small repaired crack behind lock on tang. Dark pitted bores and good mechanics. (B) W.W. Greener side by side shotgun with external hammers made by Greener circa 1890. Damascus barrels with smooth concave rib marked "W.W. Greener 'The Trap Gun' 68 Haymarket London". Case hardened scroll engraved external hammer action with 2 triggers. Walnut checkered round knob buttstock with German silver monogram shield and hard rubber buttplate. Walnut checkered splinter forearm with friction release. CONDITION: Metal has turned a silvery patina with some light discoloration and surface corrosion. Wood is solid with remnants of original finish and some usage nicks and dings. Pitted bores with tight lockup and good mechanics. DLM
