1966 Salvador Dali 2-sided Bas relief medallion/pendant with "Dionisius and Unicorn" opposite "Dionisius and Pallas Athena" in 18k yellow gold and .950 fine silver. Double signed with "Dali 1966" on one side, and "SD" on the other. Pendant measures 48mm in diameter, and has a gross weight of 48.2 grams. Outer edge of medal stamped with the French cornucopia hallmark of the Paris Mint followed by the number "1" for 950/1000 silver pirity, or fineness, and numbered "92". Also marked "K18 Italy" the bale. Excellent original patina with some wonderful rainbow toning to the gold bezel. Originally gifted from Salvador Dali to his publisher, Mr. Levine.
