Lot consists of (A) Smith & Wesson 27-2 double action revolver with case. Made 1976. Standard company trade mark monogram and address on the right side of the frame. Matching serials on the frame and butt. Six shot fluted cylinder. Round, pinned, steel barrel with ramped blade front sight and adjustable u-notch rear. Factory blued finish on the metal components. Factory checkered target grips with monogram medallions. Includes original factory blue velvet lined wood display case. CONDITION: Metal retains 98% of its original finish with a few handling marks. Grips are excellent as well. Bore is shiny with crisp rifling. Possibly unfired from the factory. Tight hammer and cylinder. Sharp timing and lockup. Light drag lines on the cylinder. Mechanically excellent. Tools are fine. Case is good overall with interior wear. The blue plastic is cracked where the gun sits. (B) Smith & Wesson 29-2 double action revolver. Made 1967. Standard company trade mark monogram and address on the right side of the frame. Matching serials on the frame and butt. 6 shot fluted cylinder. Round, pinned, steel barrel with ramped blade front sight and adjustable u-notch rear. Factory blued finish on the metal components. Factory checkered target grips with monogram medallions. CONDITION: Metal retains 95% of its original finish with light edge wear and handling marks. Grips have some light edge wear as well. Bore is clean with crisp rifling. Tight hammer and cylinder. Sharp timing and lockup. Light drag lines on the cylinder. Mechanically fine. JWA
