Lot consists of (A) Blued Smith & Wesson Model 37 Airweight Chief's Special J frame double action revolver manufactured in 1981 and chambered in .38 Special. Standard "AIRWEIGHT" marked pinned 2" round barrel, ramped front sight with white painted tip, square notch rear sight, 5-shot swing out cylinder, case hardened trigger and hammer, alloy round butt frame, and checkered walnut grips with S&W medallions. CONDITION: Excellent. Nearly all of the factory finish is retained with a ight drag line and a few scattered handling marks. grips near excellent. Fine bright bore with crisp rifling. Tight mechanics. (B) Blued Smith & Wesson Model 36-2 Chief's Special J frame double action revolver chambered in .38 Special. Round 2" barrel, ramped front sight, square notch rear, sight, fluted 5-shot swing out cylinder, case hardened trigger and hammer, round butt frame, and checkered walnut grips with S&W medallions. CONDITON: Good. Vast majority of factory applied blued finish is retained with some light high edge wear, a drag line and scattered handling marks. Grips appear to have been sanded and only retain portions of their original finish. Excellent bright bore with crisp rifling. Indexes correctly. BAS
