Lot consists of (A) Smith & Wesson Model 27-2 double action revolver with case. Made 1979. Trade mark monogram marked on the right side of the frame, in addition to the company address. 6 shot fluted cylinder. Pinned, round steel barrel with ramped blade front sight and adjustable u-notch rear. Factory blued finish on the metal components. Case colored wide serrated trigger. and knurled spurred hammer. Factory checkered target grips with medallions. Incudes factory wood blue velvet lined display case with screw driver and cleaning tools. CONDITION: Metal retains 98% of its original finishes with a few handling marks. Grips are excellent. Clean bore with crisp rifling. Tight hammer and cylinder. Sharp timing and lock up. Very light drag lines on the cylinder. Mechanically excellent. Case and accessories are excellent. (B) Smith & Wesson Model 19-3 double action revolver. Made 1976. Trade mark monogram marked on the right side of the frame, in addition to the company address. Matching serials on the frame, cylinder, butt and barrel. 6 shot fluted cylinder. Pinned, round steel barrel with ramped blade front sight and adjustable u-notch rear. Factory blued finish on the metal components. Trigger and hammer have been polished and jeweled. Factory checkered target model wood grips with gold medallions. CONDITION: Metal retains 90% of its original finish with mild wear and scratches. Grips have scratches and handling marks. Bore is clean with crisp rifling. Tight hammer and cylinder. Sharp timing and lock up. Drag lines on the cylinder. Mechanically fine. JWA
