Blued Smith & Wesson Model 24 Lew Horton Special round butt N frame double action revolver manufactured in the mid 1980s and chambered in .44 Special. 3" blued round barrel with red insert ramped front sight, adjustable square notch rear and no pin. Right of frame engraved and gold filled with "Model / 24 / Special Combat / 1st One Hundred" with decorative scrolls. Mounted with 2-piece finger groove grips with S&W medallions. Housed in a fitted dovetailed wood display case with brass plaque on lid. CONDITON: Excellent. Retains nearly all of its factory applied blued finish with a turn line and a few handling marks. Grips very good with a few minor marks. Excellent bright bore with crisp rifling. Indexes correctly. Case very good with a few minor impressions. BAS
