US Property Marked Colt 1903 Pocket Hammerless semi-automatic pistol with box. Made 1945. 2-line company address/patent dates on the left side of the slide, with a rampant Colt pony behind the slide serrations. Right side of the slide is marked "COLT AUTOMATIC/CALIBRE 32 RIMLESS SMOKELESS". Right side of the frame is marked "U.S. PROPERTY". "VP" proof on the left side of the trigger guard. Standard blade front sight and U-notch rear. Factory parkerized finish on the metal components. Checkered wood grips with silver Colt medallions. Blued steel magazine marked "CAL.32/COLT" on the bottom. Includes an instructional booklet, cleaning spoon, and a later production kraft style box. CONDITION: Metal retains 98% of its original finish with some light handling marks. Grips are excellent as well. Bore is shiny with crisp rifling. Mechanically fine. Magazine, box, and accessories are excellent. JWA
