Lawman MK III double action revolver manufactured by Colt in 1978. Frame and barrel retain a high polish blue finish embellished with a light gold line bordering the edges of the frame, cylinder flutes, barrel, and trigger guard. Features include a 2" barrel, ramp front sight, frame notched rear sight, serrated trigger, a case colored hammer, and 2-piece Colt gold medallion ivory grips. Left side of barrel is marked "LAWMAN MK III/ .357 MAGNUM CTG." with Colt's 2-line address on the right. Left side of frame bears the Rampant Colt logo. Right side of frame is engraved "COLT/ ENGR." followed by "S. KAMYK". Revolver is housed within a faux leather cased which is marked "VINCIT QUI PATITUR" (he conquers who endures) on the exterior with "Colts Patent Repeating Pistols" on the interior of the lid. Case retains a orange velvet lining and is properly fit to the gun. CONDITION: Metal components retain virtually all of their original factory blue finish, showing few nicks or handling marks overall. Cylinder bears an extremely light dragline. Frame screw is broken at the top and has been blued over. Mirror bore with well-defined rifling throughout. Ivory grips are excellent, showing few superficial handling marks. Case shows some superficial wear to the exterior lid graphic and brass catch latch, with a tear to the interior faux leather spine lining. A very high condition and attractive Colt Custom Shop Lawman MK III revolver signed by Colt Master Engraver Steve Kamyk. MLW
