Manufactured between 1883 - 1885 with a total production of 6,403 Colt Burgess rifles. Full octagonal barrel with a full magazine. Rocky Mountain front sight and sporting rear sight. Plain walnut front and rear stocks with a crescent buttplate and a rifle forend cap. Two-line address on top of the barrel flat and a Rampant Colt logo on the left side of the action. "+BURGESS PATENTS+" is stamped on top of finger lever. CONDITION: This is a brown gun with hints of some blue in the protected areas. Stocks have been lightly cleaned and the front stock has a couple of small cracks on the right side rear. Good bore with some slight frosting in the lands and grooves. Action is tight and crisp. REW
