Ruger Blackhawk transition model single action revolver with box. Made 1962. Unconverted 3-screw gun. Factory letter states this gun shipped in December of 1962, with no indication of where it shipped to. Company address on the left side of the barrel. Left side of the frame is marked "RUGER .357 CAL./BLACKHAWK". 6 shot fluted cylinder. Round, steel barrel with ramped blade front sight and u-notch adjustable rear. Factory blued finish on the metal components with the hammer correctly in the white. Factory walnut grips with phoenix medallions. Includes original yellow and black box, with papers on the inside. This was a transition model to the protected rear sight model. CONDITION: Metal retains 97% of its original finish with some light edge wear and handling marks. Grips are excellent with a few handling marks. Bore is shiny with crisp rifling. Mechanically fine. Box is very good with light edge wear. JWA
