Colt Combat Python double action revolver with box. One of 500 made exclusively for Lew Horton in 1988. Left side of the barrel is marked "COMBAT PYTHON/.357 MAGNUM CTG.", while the right is marked with the company address in two lines. Rampant Colt pony on the left side of the frame, with "VP" proof on the left side of the trigger guard. Matching serials on the frame and crane. Round, steel barrel with vent rib. Ramped front sight and adjustable U-notch rear. Factory dark blue finish. Serrated trigger and spurred hammer. Factory wood grips with gold Colt medallions. Includes serial matching red box with manual and papers. CONDITION: Metal retains 98% or more of its original finish with a few handling marks. Grips are excellent as well. Bore is shiny and crisp. Gun appears unfired from the factory. Tight hammer and cylinder. Very light drag line on the cylinder. Mechanically fine. Box has some edge wear and handling marks. JWA
