Whitworth bolt action sporting rifle with scope. Made 1980s-90s in England and imported by Interarms. Left side of the chamber is marked "WHITWORTH". British proofs on the barrel and receiver. "WHITWORTH" logo is covered up by a scope base. British proofs on the barrel and chamber. Interarms import mark on the left side of the receiver. Round, steel barrel with blade front sight and rear iron sight. Rear sight is fixed at 100 yards has flip up apertures for 200 and 300 yards. Gloss blued finish with a polished bolt. Caped pistol grip wood stock with checkering on the wrist and forearm. Sling stud on the butt stock, with the front stud on the barrel. "WHITWORTH" marked rubber butt plate. Includes attached Leupold VXR 1.25 - 4X20 scope. CONDITION: Metal retains 95% of its original finish with a few handling marks. Stock is excellent. Bore is shiny with crisp rifling. Mechanically fine. Scope has a few exterior scratches, but is excellent overall, with a clear optic. JWA
