Produced by Loewe Berlin prior to 1897 for Argentina in 7.65x53mm. Blued 29" round barrel, blade front sight, rear ladder sight graduated to 2000 meters, receiver crest ground off, and a 2-piece walnut military style stock retained by 2 blued bands. Complete with cleaning rod and modern leather sling. Rifle is also accompanied by 27 20 round boxes of PPU ammunition and a bag of stripper clips. CONDITION: Very good retaining vast majority of its original finish with some light wear and a patina spot where crest was on receiver. Butt plate a brown patina Otherwise markings are crisp. Stock very good wit a few dings, including some minor chipping at toe. Very good bore with strong rifling. Fine mechanics. Matching numbers observed on receiver, barrel, bolt, and stock.
