Serrated slant front sight, square notch flat top rear sight with "P" proof in front of rear sight. Left side of slide with "ITHACA GUN Co. INC / ITHACA. N.Y.". Barrel with "F" on right lug, "P" on left lug. Left side of frame with "P" proof near checkered magazine release, "FJA" proof above release. Left side of trigger guard with Ithaca proof. Right side of frame with crossed cannon proof, "UNITED STATES PROPERTY", serial number, and "M 1911 A1 U.S. ARMY". Right side of trigger guard with "3". Checkered narrow hammer, serrated slide release, serrated thumb safety. Long 1911A1 grip safety, arched serrated mainspring with lanyard loop. Keys fibre grips with reinforcing rings. Full blue magazine with "L" on lip for Little manufacture. CONDITION: Very good, retaining virtually all of the parkerized finish with appropriate burnishing in the crossed cannon cartouche. Some minor handling marks from handling and storage. Some minor silvering to high edges and reciprocating areas. Action works appropriately when cycled by hand, bore is excellent, bright and shiny, with crisp rifling. This is a very good example. EW
