Manufactured from 1883 to 1909. Features include nickel finish, 3" tip up barrel, half moon front sight, fluted 5-shot cylinder, blued trigger guard, case hardened trigger and hammer, and checkered S&W logo composite grips. Housed in a homemade felt lined wooden case with a complete 50 round 2-piece box of UMC cartridges, and another 5 loose rounds. Ammo box marked in pen on bottom "Cleveland/Ohio/May 18th/1892". CONDITION: Fine retaining vast majority of factory applied nickel finish with a drag line, freckles, and other evidence of use. Bright bore with strong rifling and a few pits. Bluing fading with some traces of case colors retained. Indexes correctly. Ammo box has some edge wear and light staining. BAS
