German 5.2mm (.22 Long) single shot target pistol (Scheibenpistole). Underside of barrel is marked with the serial number (18312). Left side of barrel is marked "5.2mm 22L" and the the "BUG" proofs. Left front side of receiver is marked "DRGM", and right side is marked with the "U" and "B" proof. Serial number of "18312" is visible only under the barrel. No import marks. Barrel has rear sight mounted in a dovetail, and is adjustable only for elevation. Standard German target front blade sight is drift adjustable for windage. Action is opened by pulling the trigger guard downward. Dual set triggers are present and functional. Single piece walnut pistol grip panel is checkered and has left side thumb rest. CONDITION: Overall finish on the the pistol is very good to excellent. Barrel assembly has been reblued and retains 90-95% of that finish. Receiver, trigger guard, front and back strap show signs of a mix of rebluing along with its case hardening. Walnut grip is very good with a repair to the cap, which is a quarter inch of plastic being screwed to the cap.. Bore is bright and pistol is mechanically sound. WEZ
