Lot consists of (A) U.M.C. 2 piece box for the Colt Lightning Magazine Rifle. Box is full and correct with tan top and side labels. Top label reads "50 .38 CAL. COLT'S L.M.R. / CENTRAL-FIRE CARTRIDGES / MANUFACTURED BY / THE UNION METALLIC CARTRIDGE CO. / BRIDGEPORT, CONN., U.S.A." The bullet in the center of the box has ".38 CAL. COLT'S / NEW LIGHTNING / MAGAZINE RIFLE" on it. The head stamp on the ammo is "U.M.C. / 38-40" CONDITION: Box shows wear. The top label has chipping and fading. Most of the side label is missing. Ammunition is in great condition. (B) U.M.C. two piece box for the Colt Lightning Magazine Rifle. Box is full and correct with tan top and side labels. Top label reads "50 .32 CAL. COLT'S L.M.R. / CENTRAL-FIRE CARTRIDGES / MANUFACTURED BY / THE UNION METALLIC CARTRIDGE CO. / BRIDGEPORT, CONN., U.S.A.". The bullet in the center of the box has ".32 CAL.
