New Service double action revolver manufactured by Colt in 1925. Left side of barrel is stamped "NEW SERVICE 45 COLT" with the top bearing Colt's address and patent information. Left side of frame bears the Rampant Colt logo and "VP" proof. Features include a blue finish, 7 - 1/2" barrel, clipped blade front sight, notched rear sight, and pearl Colt medallion grips. CONDITION: Metal components retain large amounts of their original factory blue finish, exhibiting areas of wear that show through to brown patina all around. Mirror bore with good rifling throughout. Grips show few minor handling marks, with the left grip showing a couple chips. Grip screw is in-the-white. MLW
