Colt Match Target semi automatic pistol with factory box and holster. Made 1950. Rampant Colt pony marked above "MATCH TARGET" on the left side of the chamber. Left side of the barrel is marked with company address and patent dates. Left side of the slide is marked "COLT AUTOMATIC/CAL .22 LONG RIFLE". "VP" proof on the top left of the trigger guard. Ramped blade front sight with the factory adjustable rear. Factory blued finish on the metal components. Factory plastic checkered grips with thumb rest as well. Includes 2 original blued steel magazines, and an earlier production blued steel magazine marked "COLT WOODSMAN/CAL 22 L.R." (this magazine will not work with the gun). The original brown flat board box is also included (papers present on the inside), in addition to a vintage leather shoulder holster. CONDITION: Metal retains 95% of its original finish with a few handling marks and scratches. Grips are excellent. Bore is clean overall with very good rifling. Mechanically fine. Magazines have light wear. Box is fair with wear and rips on the edges. Holster is very good. JWA
