Colt Cobra double action revolver with box. Made 1954. Left side of the barrel marked "COBRA/.38 SPECIAL CTG." while the right has the company address. Rampant Colt pony on the left side of the frame. "VP" proof on the top left of the trigger guard. Matching serials on the frame and crane. Grips are hand numbered to the gun. Round steel barrel with blade front sight and u-notch rear. Factory black/blued finish on the metal components. checkered plastic grips with Colt medallions. Includes an original brown flat board box. CONDITION: Metal retains 98% of its original finish with a few handling marks. Grips are ill fitting, and have shrunk/warped over time. Bore is clean with crisp rifling. Tight hammer and cylinder. Sharp timing and lockup. Very light drag line on the cylinder. Mechanically fine. Box has some light edge wear and handling marks. JWA
