Standard configuration P.08 manufactured by the Royal Erfurt Arsenal in 1914. Receiver is marked "1914" over with chamber, with Erfurt arsenal proofs on the right side. Toggle is marked with a crown over "ERFURT". Receiver lug is stamped with a horizontal "P" followed by a vertical "S A". All numbers are matching, with the majority of numbers being force matched and exhibiting overstamped numbers below. Complete with a leather holster with handwritten characters on the back panel, as well as 2 additional magazines, takedown tool, and pin punch. CONDITION: Major metal components have been reblued and exhibit some areas of freckling all around, but otherwise retain the vast majority of their blue finish. Sideplate shows surface oxidation all around. Strawed components show some wear as well as several areas of age related discoloration. Mirror bore, retaining well defined rifling throughout. Grips show some concentrated wear and impressions, but are otherwise serviceable. Holster exhibits crazing and age related cracking all around, with a tear on the magazine cell. MLW
