Circa 1926 game gun with 30" blued steel barrels with ejectors, concave matte tapered rib with extension, and steel round front bead sight. Chambers are 2 - 3/4" with chokes being full and full. Rib reads "PARKER BROS.MAKERS MERIDEN, CT U.S.A ACME. STEEL.". The case colored boxlock action engraved with scrolls, dogs pointing in hunting scenes also have "PARKER BROS." in banner on both left and right walls. Top lever is also case hardened and has a checkered thumb piece. The tang mounted safe slide is checkered. Gun is auto-safe. The single "MILLER" trigger is mechanical. The dark honey blonde well figured stock with strong checkered straight hand grip has fleur de lis pattern and a black rubber pad. Blacked trigger guard with scrolls on bow extends to a long bottom strap with serial number engraved "217897". Beavertail forend with matched engraving pattern and case colored / scroll engraved latch release. Gun comes with an oxblood colored travel case. Parker letter indicates July 1926 manufacture with 30" barrels, on a 12 gauge on #1 - 1/2 frame, with 13 - 1/2" length of pull, 1 - 7/8" drop at comb, 2 - 3/4" drop at heel, and 7 lbs 8 oz. CONDITION: Very good. Barrels retain mostly all of a previous reblack. Action and ejectors work well. Trigger is good, but slightly gummed up on second pull. Gun seems to benefit from a restock. Stock with some handling marks. Forend very good. Gun appears to have had a previous professional refurbishment. CP
