Model 1900 "American Eagle" Luger manufactured by DWM for commercial sales within the United States. Receiver bears an American Eagle insignia over the chamber area. Toggle bears the DWM monogram. Front of frame is stamped "GERMANY" below the serial number. Matching numbers include the frame, locking bolt, trigger, sideplate, grip safety, barrel, receiver, toggles, and grips. Sideplate, grip safety, receiver, and toggles are matched by the last three numbers of the serial number. Complete with one non-matching magazine. CONDITION: Excellent overall, with metal components retaining the vast majority of their rust blue finish, exhibiting a few areas of wear as well as some areas of thinning. Grip straps show thinning and areas of freckling. Strawed components retain the majority of their finish, showing some areas of wear as well as some age related discoloration. Bore is bright, showing some light oxidation and retaining good rifling throughout. Grips show some light smoothing, as well as several impressions and a few nicks to the diamonds. MLW
