Colt Pre Woodsman semi automatic pistol with box. Made 1920. Left side of the slide is marked "COLT AUTOMATIC/CAL..22 LONG RIFLE", in front a rampant Colt pony. Patent dates and company address in two lines on the top of the barrel. "VP" proof on the top left of the trigger guard. Round pencil weight steel barrel. Adjustable blade front sight and u-notch rear. Factory blued finish on the metal components. Factory diamond checkered wood grips. Factory two tone blued steel magazine, marked "CAL .22/COLT" on the base plate. Includes original brown flat board box with cleaning brush, tool and red instruction booklet inside. CONDITION: Metal retains 98% of its original finish, with light edge wear and handling marks. Grips are excellent as well. Shiny bore with sharp rifling. Mechanically fine. Magazine is excellent. Box is fair, with heavy edge wear, ripped end tabs and edges. JWA
