Built in 1987, a very nice Italian made Combination 20 / 28 gauge game gun. Both sets of chopper lump blacked steel barrels are built with ejectors, 2 - 3/4" chambers, raised, narrow, tapered, crosshatched rib with white front bead sights. Bottoms of barrels are stamped "W.L. MOORE, WESTLAKE, CA." "MOD. LUNIK". (A - 20 gauge) Barrel flat reads "0005 P", "8519", with appropriate Italian proofs. Bottom of left barrel reads CAM.70 and 15.8. Bottom of right barrel reads KG1,040 and 15.8. The (B - 28 gauge) barrels read "8519" with appropriate Italian proofs on its barrel flats. The barrels at bottom read ""CAM 70, 14.1" and "KG1,040 and 14.1" Both sets of barrels read "FILLI PIOTTI ITALY" on the left barrel near breech. Both sets of barrels each come with individual finely checkered beavertail forends with Anson-styled push-button releases. Forends with gold crests and floral scroll engraved exterior iron metal and escutcheons. The coin finished seven pin sidelock action with disk set strikers, gas ports and single mechanical trigger is exquisitely engraved with fancy vine and leaf scrolls by "Grannetti". The right hand rolled edged trigger guard and top lever are adorned with the matching engraving pattern. Top lever with gold inlay of a crown and a checkered thumb. Long bottom tang engraved in same fashion along with guns serial number "8519. Action is non-auto safe with "S" in gold. The deluxe European walnut stock has an English straight hand diamond grip and is finely checkered. Buttstock is finished by a black "Decelerator" pad. Beavertail forends with matched checkering. The gun and extra set of barrels are housed in a F.Illi Piotti brown leather case with a two-piece cleaning rod, cleaning brush attachment and two pair of snap caps - one pair for each gauge. CONDITION: Very good. Barrels all retain 95% original black with some light handling marks from use. Action is sound, trigger is crisp, and all ejectors are in time. Stock is good with some handling marks. Forends are very good with very minor handling marks. Case is very good with some scuffs and bruises from travel and storage. Very nice gun and set up. CP
